The Nano card holder is the slimmest, lightweight card holder in our collection and has been individually handmade with a high quality corn-based alternative to leather. The material is partially made with non-food grade corn and contains more than 50% plant content. The corn is from a renewable source, so the final material has a much lower CO2 footprint and is more environmentally friendly than other faux leathers. There is a top layer of PU which provides benefits such as water, stain and scratch resistance.
Inside, there is a woven lining which has been made using 100% recycled plastic bottles. It is soft and strong like polyester, but unlike virgin polyester, recycled PET fabric has a significantly lower impact on the environment. It uses 94% less water, 60% less energy and 32% less CO2 to manufacture.
